Itinerary

09:00 AM – Warm welcome at Nhong-Or Subdistrict Administrative Organization by
the Nhong- Or Community-Based Tourism Club.
09:10 – 09:30 AM – Travel by “Rot Khok Moo” (a traditional open-air truck unique to Sukhothai) and enjoy scenic views of the Yom River. Listen to stories from a local cultural interpreter, and observe the close relationship between the local community and Kaeng Luang rapids. Hear The Legend of King Pra Ruang and visit Wat Kudi Rai, an ancient temple with exquisite architectural design.

09:30 – 10:30 AM – Walk about 400 meters to Pa Yang temple, where you can pay respects to the highly revered monk Luang Pu Chan. Learn about the sacred giant Makha tree, believed to possess spiritual power. Join a hands-on activity: making “flower cones” (Kruai dok mai) used for traditional offerings.
10:30 – 10:50 AM – Learn about organic farming at the Rice Variety Learning Center
(At Pa Somkuan’s house). Enjoy a light snack made from organic ingredients.
Recommended snack: Spicy Brown Rice Salad (Phla Khao Klong Ngok).

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Visit Sangkhalok Kiln No. 42 (Tao Thuriang), an important site for studying and preserving ancient Sukhothai ceramic craftsmanship (Sangkhalok ware).
12:00 – 1:00 PM – Enjoy a local lunch served in traditional pinto (Lunch container) at the multipurpose hall in Moo 5, Ban Koh Noi.
Recommended dish: Zo Le Kai – a signature chicken dish from the Tai Khrang ethnic group.
1:20 – 2:30 PM – Join a creative tourism activity: molding and painting Sangkhalok ceramics at the Sangkhalok Arts Area, Ban Koh Noi.

2:30 – 4:00 PM – Experience the traditional way of life of the Tai Khrang ethnic group
at the Tai Khrang Cultural Learning Center. Enjoy a warm welcome, admire traditional handwoven Tai Khrang textiles, and join a cultural craft session to make Dok Thantawaen (The decorative flower flags added a vibrant touch to the ceremony).
Visit the local community market for souvenirs and handmade products.
4:00 PM – End of program. Guests depart with smiles and lasting impressions.
